Dr. John Patterson
Dr. John Patterson has been a tireless advocate for improving downtown Whitewater for the last ten years or so. While he has contributed significantly as the current secretary of the Downtown Whitewater, Inc. Board of Directors and as a member of the Economic Restructuring and Parking Committees we believe his most substantive contributions have been as an advocate and designer for improved downtown streetscaping and parking alternatives. John has devoted countless hours of time to the Whitewater Plaza and Streetscape Improvement project as well as to the return of angle parking to West Main Street. The combination of professional expertise as a retired professor of geography at UW-Whitewater coupled with his passion for the downtown revitalization make him a tremendous asset to our downtown revitalization efforts.
We are very fortunate to have Dr. John Patterson working so diligently for our community and our downtown revitalization efforts.
