Promotions Committee Meeting Minutes
January 9, 2007
Members Present: Bridget, Emma Lou, Linda, Ali, Jill, Bill
Chili Cook-off & food stand at Freeze Fest on 1/27:
Cindy Bednar and Linda Peterson have already signed up to be judges, Ali and Jill will ask Jim Stewart and Kevin Brunner to be our 3rd and 4th judges for the Cook-off. Entry forms are still displayed at First Citizens Bank, Double Dip Deli, Sweet Spot, Karinas & The Discover Whitewater Bldg. All Cook-off contestants will be arriving between 9:30 -10:30am. Judging will take place between 11:00 – 11:30am. Ali will get change, ribbons, and print fake checks for the winners. Linda will be donating coffee and nacho cheese. Bill will be ordering muffins. The proceeds from the coffee and muffins will be donated to Downtown Whitewater Inc.
Pricing for the food items:
Chili: $2.00
Hot Dogs: $2.00
Potatoes: $2.00
French Fries: $2.00
Muffins: $1.00
Soda, Water, Coffee: $1.00
Bill will graciously be supplying us with: hot dogs, buns, soda, water, serving platters, napkins, warmer, fries, baked potatoes, bowls, spoons, & shredded cheese. Everything else will be provided by the Lakefront Center.
All volunteers are asked to be at the Lakefront Center by 8:30am and stay until about 1:30pm.
Next Meeting: Thursday February 1, 2007 at The Sweet Spot
