Celebrate Valentine's Day in Whitewater!

Love is in the air in Whitewater! There are tons of places in town that can help you celebrate.

It’s never too early to start shopping for a gift! McCullough’s Prescriptions and Gifts has everything from specialty chocolates and jewelry to fragrances and candles that are sure to please. Stop by Irvin L Young Memorial Library on Saturdays from 9am-noon to shop all of the unique, handcrafted gifts at the Whitewater City Market! Make sure to check out Happy Mail by Chris’ booth to check out her beautiful handmade cards. For the beer lover in your life, pick up a growler from Second Salem or Casual Joe’s!

Floral Villa has you covered for flowers. They offer a variety of bouquets and gift baskets that are sure to make your significant other smile. You can pick up the flowers in store or have them delivered on Valentine’s Day, just make sure you order at least a day in advance to ensure that they are delivered on time. They also offer a selection of great gift options.

When it comes to a romantic meal for two, Whitewater has many great options! For that traditional Valentine’s Day dinner date, try Fanatico. Their delicious Italian food and wine paired with a romantic atmosphere makes it a perfect date location. The Black Sheep offers an intimate setting with a locally sourced seasonal menu. Or cozy up in a booth and enjoy pizza and cheese sticks at Gus’s Pizza Palace. If you’re more of a burgers and beer couple, try 841 Brewhouse! For a breakfast or lunch date, The SweetSpot Cafe is a great place to enjoy coffee, pastries, sandwiches and salads with that special someone.

Looking for a more unique date idea? Staller Estate Winery has a Valentine’s Day themed Sip and Paint on February 9th and a Valentine’s Day Inspired Wine and Dine on February 10th. Check out their website for more information! Or check out Ian Clark’s flute performance at Light Recital Hall, tickets available here.

Not a fan of Valentine’s Day? Give the gift of food to one of the community’s Little Free Pantries (located at Irvin L Young Memorial Library, 834 E Milwaukee St, and 1143 W Walworth Ave) or to the food pantry at the Armory!

However you choose to celebrate, Whitewater businesses would love to help you make this Valentine’s Day the best one yet!
